Nominations are NOW OPEN for TEDXParramatta 2018.

Let’s do tomorrow, together!

Society is undergoing a period of unprecedented change across all industries. Ideas hold the power to innovate; change attitudes, lives and ultimately the world. Home to over two million people of diverse backgrounds, Western Sydney is a multi-centred hub for innovation – in technology, art, science, education and business. It is time to give these ideas a platform to connect with local, national and global conversations.

What are we looking for?

  • Individuals who live, work or play across Western Sydney.
You could be a scientist, a teacher, an urban planner, an artist or cultural worker, perhaps you are a policy shaper, an everyday hero – you could be anybody! We are looking for a diverse range of speakers from across several disciplines.
  • Talks focused on the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and ultimately, the world loosely fitting around the theme of ‘let’s do tomorrow, together!’

Nominate yourself or someone you know today!

How to apply:

Whether nominating yourself, someone you know (especially someone who might be too shy to put their hand up) or someone whose work you have a distant appreciation for (this is totally ok too), nominating is easy!

Let us know the idea, why it matters, a bit about the speaker and why the idea is worth sharing with audiences at TedxParramatta. Online submissions don’t capture a person! Which is why you have the opportunity to include a 30 second video pitch. Show us your passion!

Tip: check out the form and prepare your responses offline as you cannot partially complete and save your answers.

What are you waiting for? Nominate someone today!

NOTE: speakers must be available for pre-event speaker briefing in Parramatta (date TBC) and Saturday 15 September for the event.
